You are never told whether a person read your application. Detection does not work, so this builds the other side of it: a rotating canary you place in your own document, and an attestation a reader can sign.
- One page per institution: 501 of the QS top 500, each quoting that university's own robots.txt with the date it was read.
- Measured 24 August 2026: of 370 whose file could be read, 22 name an AI crawler and block it and 348 name none at all.
- Early and honest about it. Nothing to buy, and every attestation currently reads as unverified.
